A Place To Start

I am not much of a talker, but I love to listen to whats’ on peoples hearts. I have always been this way and did not always understand why. But, I do know now. I love to listen to others, but most importantly I love to listen to what the Heavenly Father wants to say to them.

Our lives can be so chaotic. Life’s pressures can pull you down or cause you to run around aimlessly. Sometimes we just need to take a break to hear his voice. He voice sounds something similar to your own voice but not something you would ever hear yourself say. What I mean is you would use different words or terminology even.

God is near us. We just have to call on his name. Take a few moments from your busy day and just say hi. Maybe you can take a seat on your couch or if you are in your workplace just tell him hello. That’s a good start. He may not say anything back right away but you just acknowledged the King of Kings. For me He is my Father. He is my best friend. I can’t go a day without talking to him. Just start there with a hello. Your relationship will build from there. You can even tell Him how your feeling if you like. He knows it already but he loves to hear us tell him.

He has solutions for your problems. First, he wants a relationship with you. Yes, a real relationship. One that you would have with a friend, a parent, or a spouse.

Can you believe that you can hear His voice?

For some you may be already but are not even realizing it yet. It takes time, all relationships do. You don’t tell someone you first met all the details of your life. In this case he already knows. He wants you to learn how to trust Him.

Maybe you stumbled upon this post or you have been following me for a while. I pray that this encourages you to want to get to know Him better.

God bless you! Until next post!
